A Great Investment in Pakistan the Biggest First Deep Water Container Port starts test Operation (CPEC). It is completed with Cost $1.2 Billion Dollar by accommodating the first container Ship, APL JAPAN.

the vessel took along side berth No. 4 of the port at 3 pm for loading around 1,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) of export cargo.
However, the vessel having a draft of 12 meters and an overall length of 262 metres is a small vessel for a big port like the PDWCP, which has a designed draft of 18 metres and operational draft of 16 metres.


The port, located at Keamari groyne east of Karachi Port (Sindh Pakistan ), has the capacity to handle mother ships Controller .
The APL Japan first called at Karachi International Container Terminal, West Wharf Karachi Port, and unloaded containers of import Cargo Services  and later shifted to the PDWCP, sources said.

Sources said that keeping in view safety factors in mind, a small vessel has been deliberately selected for test operations. They hoped that the PDWCP would be inaugurated by Prime Minister Of  Pakistan Nawaz Sharef  in the third week of  1st January .
Moreover, using a smaller vessel also provided an opportunity to the terminal operator to experience and check possible flaws.


The vessel Past Route came from Jebel Ali, a deep port located in Dubai (Dubai is the most popular and tremendous , beautiful city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), 
Under the first phase of development, the terminal operator, South Asia Pakistan Terminals (#SAPT), has constructed berths No.3 and 4 while berths No. 1 and 2 would be taken up for completion under the second phase (Cpec Publisher).



A spokesman for SAPT, owned and operated by Hutchison Ports of Hong Kong, said it has invested around $600 million Dollars . The terminal operator has already brought in equipment, including five ship-to-shore gantry cranes.
Insides, the terminal operator has also completed three building blocks to be used for administration, customs and canteen. A power station with a generation capacity of 28 megawatts (MW ) is also ready and 28 MW is much advantage for CPEC Project .
The port has the capacity to handle 3.1m TEUs a year and have a storage yard to accommodate 550,000 TEUs a year, sources said.























Project Number 1: There are 1420 Mega Watt (MW) Tarbela Dam  5th Extension Hydropower Project was approved by ECNEC Department  at a revised cost of Rs. 82,361.7 million as estimate time period  is (2017-2021).after completion of Tarbela 5th extension will rise to 6299 Mega Watt (MW).
It is one of the largest earth filled dam in the world and fifth largest by structural volume. It is named after the town Tarbela, in province  Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pakistan China Pakistan Economic Corridors Source media (CPEC) said, 

The Tarbela Dam was built with five original tunnels, with the first three dedicated to hydropower generation, and the remaining two slated for irrigation use; the fourth phase extension project utilizes the first of the two irrigation tunnels, while the 5th phase extension will use the second irrigation tunnel. Pakistan’s Water and Power Development Authority (PDA) sought expressions of interest for the Tarbela-V Extension Project in 23 August 2014 and was given final consent for construction in 23 September 2015.
Construction is yet to begin, but will require an estimated Time period estimate is  3.6 years for completion. The project will require installation of three turbines with a capacity of 480 MW each in Tarbela's Dam fifth tunnel which was previously dedicated to agricultural use. Upon completion, the total power generating capacity of Tarbela Dam will be increased to 6,299 MW Mega Watt (CPEC Media News).

It’s  building a new power house and its ancillaries to generate about 1,801 GWh of power annually, a new 51 kilometer (KM) of 500 kilo Volt (KV)
These followings are Double circuit transmission line from Tarbela Dam to the City Islamabad Pakistan West Grid Station for power evacuation, and a new 500kV Islamabad West Grid Station. China Pakistan Economic Corridors Source media (CPEC) said
