Gwadar-Quetta link Western Route:

Good News For Balochistan Province  Development 650 Kilometers long N 85 also known as Gwadar –Quetta Road, part of the Western Route has been completed
The N-85 Highway is also known as the Gwadar-Quetta link. It starts from Hoshab and moves northwards towards Quetta passing through Panjur | Besima and Sorab which is a part of Baluchistan province from where it merges with the Karachi -Quetta Highway (N-25) at Kalat. The 650 km highway passes through the remote towns of interior Baluchistan province Pakistan and provides a direct and shorter link between Gwadar and Quetta.(CPEC) (Cpec Publisher).



China Pakistan Economic Corridor Construction of this highway was a big challenge due to harsh terrain and security hazards. Frontier works Organization (FWO) mobilized its resources at 14 locations to complete the project .The highway is regarded as a catalyst for the progress and development of interior  Baluchistan
Due to this route Gwadar would be connected not only to Quetta but also link  with Afghanistan.

Railway tracks to be gate-free, signal free under  China Pakistan Economic Corridors (CPEC)
Railway tracks from Province Karachi Pakistan to [province KPK ] Peshawar Pakistan will be made gate-free and signal-free under the next phase of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), according to (CPEC) media reports.
A fence would be built around the tracks, similar to Motorway, and an underpass or overhead bridge would be built at every gate on the tracks (CPEC).
Work on the project would be initiated from February . The first phase of the project would focus on railway tracks between  City Rawalpindi Punjab  and  city Peshawar KPK (CPEC).
The signaling system in Pakistan Railways will also be upgraded under the project  Of China Pakistan Economic Corridors (CPEC) (Cpec Publisher)..
The purpose behind making railway tracks gate-free and signal-free is to make train journeys safer and faster for the public. The fencing and bridges would also lead to a reduction in accidents.
Once the project is completed, the tracks would be able to accommodate high speed trains. The railways authorities have completed the planning for the China Pakistan Economic Corridors (CPEC) project.


Project Number 3 :China Pakistan Economic Corridors (CPEC) MOTORWAYS: 13 Motorways planned under China Pakistan Economic Corridors (CPEC)  2001 km Motorways completed in 2018-2019 (Cpec Publisher).
Under China Pakistan Economic Corridors (CPEC), a wide network of motorways and highways is being constructed. Out of 14 motorways planned under China Pakistan Economic Corridors (CPEC), 4 motorways including Kpk City  Peshawar – Punjab City Islamabad (M-1), Punjab City Islamabad –Punjab city Lahore (M-2), Pindi Bhattian [Punjab]- Faisalabad [Punjab], and Faisalabad- Gojra (M-4) are already operations while the rest will be completed during the next 2-3 years, taking the overall length of motorway network to over 2001 Kilo Meter (KM). This includes  Thakot Havelian (121 Kilo Meter (KM),  Havelian [Punjab]  -  Hasanabdal [Punjab] motorway (54 KILOMETER (KM)), Hakla - DERA.ISMAIL KHAN [KPK] Expressway (281 Kilo Meter (KM)), #Lahore - Abdulhakim #motorway (231 KILOMETER (KM)), Multan [Punjab] - Sukkur motorway (394 km) and  Gojra -  Shorkot motorway (63 kilo Meter (KM)).

The M-8 is an east-west motorway in Pakistan, connecting Sukkur Larkana to Gwadar China Pakistan Economic Corridors (CPEC). The motorway partly currently under construction, while the 194 Kilo Meter stretch between City Gwadar and  City Hoshab was inaugurated in 28 sFebruary 2016 China Pakistan Economic Corridors (CPEC) Project.
The Ratodero Gwadar Motorway (M-8) will start from Ratodero in  Province Sindh and enter Province Baluchistan passing near the towns of Khuzdar, Awaran, Hoshab, Turbat before joining the 
Makran Coastal Highway just east of the port city of Gwadar. The M8 will cross the Dasht River and pass near the Mirani Dam in Balochistan Province. The M8 will have 4-lanes and a total length of 893 Kilo Meter (KM). Initially, 2 lanes will be constructed after the completion of which another 2 lanes will be added, thus making a total of 4-lanes China Pakistan Economic Corridors (CPEC).(Cpec Publisher).
